Personal Coaching

(1.5 hours or longer) Personalized coaching, just for you!

Personal coaching is a joy for those who like an efficient, streamlined approach to learning kayaking skills; or for those who, due to their time-constraints, cannot join our regularly scheduled sessions. Coaching is customized to your needs, and can provide instruction ranging from foundational skills to advanced techniques.

Time: 1.5 hours or longer

Location: Ocean River Sports, Crystal Pool, Thetis Lake, Elk Lake, Juan de Fuca Strait or Haro Strait.

Cost: $50 per hour for sessions at Ocean River Sports or Crystal Pool. For sessions at Thetis Lake, Elk Lake, Juan de Fuca Strait or Haro Strait, an additional transportation fee of $50 is added to the overall cost of the session. Price is per instructor, rather than per person. Each instructor can coach an individual or a pair. For group sizes of three to four people, please refer to our existing program rates. Groups sizes of five or more, please refer to our group discount rates.

Kayak Rental: One single kayak rental is included in the cost. An additional kayak can be rented for $30 per day. Kayak rental include paddling gear.
