Rentals -  Strike out on your own!

We offer year-round single and tandem (2 person) kayak rentals to experienced paddlers or to those interested in discovering kayaking on their own. You can launch from our dock conveniently located in Victoria's upper harbour. Our fleet is the largest in town, and is comprised of high-quality sea kayaks. Large or small we'll have a boat to fit you!

NEW, stand up paddle board rentals! Come down and rent an SUP board and feel like a kid again.  This sport is also a great full body workout.  If your not familiar with SUP yet, ask one of staff about it, they'll be glad to help you.

We also offer snowshoe and pole rentals in the winter. This is a great opportunity to try this fun sport, or test out snowshoes before you buy!

All rentals include: paddle, PFD, spray skirt, throw-line, pump, a helmet (for whitewater) and a leash for SUP

Optional: Spare paddle and/or paddlefloat.

Rental Policy: If renting a kayak for 1 day or longer, you may reserve in advance by calling (250) 381-4233. Full payment is required for a reservation. We accept VISA and Mastercard.

For your own safety, any renter who plans to paddle in an area other than our protected harbour requires deepwater rescue training for kayaking/canoeing as a minimum. Stand Up Paddling requires the renter to be able to swim.  In addition, if you plan to transport a vessel on the roof of your vehicle, you will require roof racks (rated to carry the corresponding load), shaped padded cradles, straps (or rope) for securing the kayak,and bow and stern lines.

Cancellation Policy: We require a minimum 72 hours notice of cancellation for a full refund. A 25% administrative fee (min $25) will be retained for cancellations within 72 hours of the reservation date.

Enjoy unlimited 3 hour rentals off our dock in Victoria's inner harbour everyday for a year!

Cost: $400

• Includes all safety equipment (PFD, whistle, paddle, pump, throw bag and a spray skirt).
• Rentals off our dock (no off – site rentals).
• Maximum 3 hour use.
• Kayaks are rented on-site; first come, first served.
• Duration of the rental term will be for one year from your sign-up date.
• Minimum age is 16 yrs with a guardian signed waiver.
• All members must have previous kayaking experience and be able to do a self rescue. 
• Bring a friend to paddle in a double & receive 50% off the regular rental rate.
• Members get 20% off additional regular rentals or off site rentals.
• Any lost or damaged equipment will be charged to the renter at at the full retail price.
• All late returns will be charged an hourly rate of $20/hour.
